Phoenix, United States – November 14, 2023 — Reliance Hospitality Impact, the corporate responsibility arm of Reliance Hospitality, is proud to announce the launch of its annual outreach program and food drive, “Our Community, Our Table.” This initiative, designed to address food insecurity and bring the spirit of hospitality to those in need, underscores the company’s dedication to serving the communities where it operates.

During the holiday season, the issue of food insecurity becomes even more pronounced. The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) reports that roughly 690 million people, approximately 9% of the world’s population, suffer from chronic undernourishment. The gap between those who have enough to eat and those who do not is exacerbated during this time of year.

As a company rooted in the principles of hospitality, Reliance Hospitality understands the significance of extending a helping hand. “Our Community, Our Table” embodies this commitment to being part of the solution and emphasizes our enduring pledge to the communities we engage with.

This year’s program will operate on a global scale, involving our team from the United States, Portugal, the United Kingdom, and the Philippines. By engaging in this initiative, Reliance Hospitality illustrates its commitment to spreading hospitality without boundaries. The project is made possible through the generous support of strategic partners who share our vision for the well-being of our communities.

Reliance Hospitality Impact partners with Feeding America, United States’ largest hunger-relief organization, in the fight to end hunger. Feeding America works through a network of 200 food banks and 60,000 food pantries and meal programs, providing meals to more than 40 million people each year.

Additionally, the hotel properties managed by Reliance Hospitality are reaching out to local Feeding America branches to organize food collection boxes, encouraging both guests and associates to donate. In Portugal and the Philippines, similar efforts will be made in partnership with local agencies.
